adam-lynch has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-pseudo] [css-highlight-api] event handling == >should custom highlights have a dedicated event handling mechanism, or should that be added to pseudo-elements in general? \- [6. Event Handling](https://www.w3.org/TR/css-highlight-api-1/#events) I'm not sure exactly what this is referring to. I was initially disappointed when I saw that these highlights would be pseudo-elements, assuming they'd be non-interactive. However, if events are being considered, I'd personally like to know when highlights are clicked if that's possible. Also, I'd like to know if a highlight is removed (e.g. because the highlight is removed / the range is no longer valid).
