I think I would be ok resolving to revert both https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/3847# and https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/4915# as long as the following are met: 1. We add something to the spec similar to what @tabatkins mentioned in https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/6773#issuecomment-1042098304 2. We re-open https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/5419#issuecomment-724269096). 3.
