We didn't get to this on today's call, can we resolve here in the issue? @jfkthame suggested three things: 1. was the renaming to `font-variant-emoji` a correct decision 2. if so, should it be added to the `font-variant` shorthand 3. and also if so, should `auto` be changed to `normal` like all the other `font-variant-*` longhands My answers to that are yes, yes, and yes. It was just an editing oversight that this wasn't already done. @litherum [stated they don't have an opinion](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/7315#issuecomment-1158313748) on 2. And it was their issue that resulted in 1. @litherum any opinions on 3. ? -- GitHub Notification of comment by svgeesus Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/7315#issuecomment-1225993410 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
