Hey Nate @NateBaldwinDesign The multiple contrast formulas for `color-contrast()` is not my idea, it is listed elsewhere including at the top of the thread, and often indicated as a separate parameter—my response is simply that if multiple algorithms are available, that the context of the contrast value and an identifier is probably the best practice. The chart is middle contrast between black and white with different proximal fields, and different configurations of the contrast matching experiment, ranging from black to white in increments of L* 25 (in this example).
