Question maybe not related here: When browser hardware acceleration is disabled, maybe it should behavior as `prefers-reduced-motion: reduce`? I am asking it because I notice more and more websites performing very badly when using animations, etc. when hardware acceleration is disabled, and I guess there currently are no way to identify it. Here is a Chrome issue I open today related to performance issue when hardware acceleration off https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1264369 -- GitHub Notification of comment by laukstein Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/5594#issuecomment-954127124 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
