I'm curious, what if something like chroma is `none` is hue treated as undefined? Or because chroma isn't known, can the decision of `hue` being undefined, not be made? I guess if you were masking for interpolation, you may not want it to be considered as a zero. I don't think it was explicitly mentioned, so I'm curious what the view on this is. I'm not sure about the alpha suggestion, so I won't weigh in on that.
