I agree it’s needed. Would it be a good idea to allow case-insensitive?

It also makes me think CSS would benefit from a generic versioning syntax for supported technology, such as `COLR>=1` (and maybe other operators [copied from npm](https://docs.npmjs.com/cli/v7/using-npm/semver#caret-ranges-123-025-004)).
