@tabatkins I can assure you that @svgeesus is not being malicious. You're just both just talking cross-purposes. I believe he is talking based on the current version of the spec, which represents achromatic hues as `NaN` (in which case `NaN`, and you are talking about other instances where `NaN` can be returned, where it is clearly an error condition.
