:playing and :paused are mutually exclusive, and every media element matches *exactly one* of them at all times. :buffering and :stalled are subsets of :playing. These are already indicated by the spec. @hober indicated in the call that she believes :seeking is independent of :playing and :paused; an element can be in either state while seeking. This makes sense to me, it just needs some clarification in the spec. -- GitHub Notification of comment by tabatkins Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/6250#issuecomment-828641503 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
