> For the name, I like the `vvh` [@bmakuh](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/4329#issuecomment-661351346) suggests. Won't vvh be confusing, if it refers to the visual viewport? The visual viewport is what's visible on the screen with or without chrome and even after pinch-zoom. The new viewport unit refers 1% of the screen height "with chrome". When chrome is hidden, the visual viewport will refer to the screen with chrome hidden, but vhc will still refer to 1% of the height with chrome. When the user pinch-zooms the visual viewport will refer to the area that is visible on the screen. Vhc will still refer to 1% of the height with chrome. -- GitHub Notification of comment by johannesodland Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/pull/5108#issuecomment-699789210 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-configReceived on Monday, 28 September 2020 05:57:30 UTC
