Inverting the value is fine by me. I think my rationale for orientation was that 0.75 looks nicer than 1.333333333 :) My “angels on pins” comment is mainly intended to remind us how much this stuff varies. I don’t mean to dump on device manufacturers. They’ve chosen these scales with good intentions, based on expected subtended visual angles.
