As a thought exercise, if the spec _isn't_ changed to match `querySelector` from this discussion, what would be the correct way to detect whether an animation fired or not on the pseudo-element? (Side note: it's kind of unfortunate that current stable browsers now fire events on the originating element when they don't support `KeyframeEffectOptions.pseudoElement`.)
