Per recent [feedback from TAG](https://github.com/webscreens/window-placement/issues/18#issuecomment-664501674), we'd like to get this group's thoughts on deprecating the existing `window.screen` object and reducing its interface to what is needed for web compatibility. Thoughts on that or feedback on [webscreens/window-placement](https://github.com/webscreens/window-placement) are greatly appreciated! @foolip the proposal favors [exposing static snapshots](https://github.com/webscreens/window-placement/blob/master/EXPLAINER.md#add-getscreens-to-expose-information-about-available-screens), so it explores [exposing `Screen.id` or the 'current' `ScreenInfo`](https://github.com/webscreens/window-placement/blob/master/additional_explorations.md#comparisons-of-screeninfo-objects-with-the-existing-screen-interface). -- GitHub Notification of comment by michaelwasserman Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/4615#issuecomment-666892419 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
