@alisonmaher Yes, thank you, that's an excellent list.

And I agree that all three cases should work just fine with `color-adjust: none`: maps will be entirely color-controlled anyway, and the other two options are color swatches which don't need any special per-property granularity, since they're just showing off a background color.

Do we want to conclude, then, that per-property granularity isn't needed, beyond the ability to choose precisely which system color is used? At least for now; we can revisit in the future if necessary.
