mirisuzanne has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-cascade] How do custom origins interact with Shadow DOM == This is in relation to #4470 custom-origin proposal, and the [Shadow DOM cascade rules](https://www.w3.org/TR/css-scoping-1/#shadow-cascading). To quote the original transcript: > emilio: Shadow DOM introduces a stack of origins; introducing this naively makes it a matrix, which is harder. Though right now I think the feature looks more like a new layer of cascade, inside existing origins, rather than a true change to origins.
