@xeenon To clarify, you're suggesting a situation where the user agent would _override_ author styles to apply a dark/light mode? I think that's outside what we're talking about here, and is more consistent with the [`forced-colors` media query](https://drafts.csswg.org/mediaqueries-5/#forced-colors) and the [`forced-color-adjust: none` property](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-color-adjust-1/#forced) that we're working to spec elsewhere.
