Yup, selector hacks (or other browser-selection mechanisms) aren't great, but again, we *already know* that manually-maintained lists of support eventually rot, every single time it's ever been tried. So it's a choice of somewhat encouraging bad individual-author behavior, or speccing bad UA behavior.
