@mrego Deprecated doesn't mean "do not implement", it means "do not use (as an author)". @noell CSSWG definitely wants `from-image` shipped: we even changed it to be the initial value. The intention is to shift browsers to using `from-image` behavior by default. If there's no Web-compat or intentional use case for other values than `from-image`, then we might drop the property, because there would no need for control over it.
