One complication with allowing drawing "outside the box" is that an evil site could convincingly draw over the browser and operating system UI. They could cover up warnings, or fool the user into thinking they are interacting with the browser or operating system, when they are actually interacting with the evil site. > With VR and AR browsing environments, there might actually be a use case for such a CSS3D. The recent proposal https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/4242 addresses this use case. -- GitHub Notification of comment by ewilligers Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/3738#issuecomment-525145042 using your GitHub account
