The verb “resolve” is very useful, particularly since we have to avoid “compute”, but it's currently loaded with an association with `getComputedStyle` values, due to the “resolved value” term. @tabatkins and I were thinking it might be useful to use a term for this concept that's less generic and more specific to `getComputedStyle`.
