Well @tabatkins it is not like the only option is renaming aliasing and adding `is()`, actually when using `when()` here for this proposal there is the option to later on alias `is()` with `matching()` and/or make it a separate stand-alone issue as it is not strictly related then, anymore. Would that be viable?
