The [major changes](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-grid/#major-2016) include "Removed grid-row-gap, grid-column-gap, and grid-gap properties"

However they are still being referred to, for example grid-gap in [normative text](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-grid/#auto-repeat) and an [example](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-grid/#grid-align).
