@larsenwork Symmetrical step functions are currently being called [`frames()` (https://drafts.csswg.org/css-timing-1/#frames-timing-functions). But that is being debated in #1301 . Your fourth example matches `frames(4)`: four equally-allocated values, including both the start and end values.
