Does any browser support that behavior though? Browsers that don't have the `contain` value explicitly still have that behavior on editable elements, and I don't think anyone makes it possible for selections to escape the editable element. Also, I don't think I've heard anyone calling for it (but that might just be me not listening enough). In the absence of both implementations or demand, I though it would be simpler to just not allow it.
