Restaurant Ontology Community Group Launched

With your support, the Restaurant Ontology Community Group has been launched:
  http://www.w3.org/community/restonto/

This group was originally proposed on 2015-04-01
by Cyril Otal. The following people supported its
creation:
      Cyril Otal
      Michael Petychakis
      Mark Matienzo
      David Deering
      Mikaël Labrut

To join the group, please use:

Please note that supporting a group is different from joining
a group. Supporters must also enroll if they wish to participate.

--------------------
The mission of this group is to create a new ontology to describe
restaurants, and reservations to those restaurants. The ontology will
support queries such as:

Find an Asian restaurant for a business meal, near my job place.
Schedule a meal with friends, and add it to my calendar.
Find a restaurant with good reviews of people I trust.
Find a cheap restaurant near a cinema where I can see the last movie of
my favorite director (yes, we need an ontology for cinemas too!)

Thank you,

W3C Community Development Team
