Hi, Ian- Many people try to insert code snippets (like <img>, <h1>, <foo>, etc.) into their comments on the CG WordPress forums, not wanting them to render as HTML but as the literal string, for discussion. You can see how this turns comments dysfunctional in this recent thread [1] on Responsive Images. Could we install some plugin [2] or set some pref to disable HTML in comments? I think that would be far more useful for our community. Or, if possible, a checkbox to allow them to selectively turn on or off comments?
