RE: Event Invitation: ConsentCG Meeting 19 July 2022

Good morning Tom,

In this case the receipt is created by the human (user) for the RP/Controller, and under human control and can be used independently of that service provider, and in the “” below is used to create the purposeful (stateful) micro-consent tokens.

Happy to talk about this, the specification is an active work, finalizing in ANCR WG in Kantara at present for wider sharing and also in the use case here in W3C.

Peace,

Sal

I would like to understand the meaning of this sentence.

"When an individual provides consent, the electronic consent receipt is exchanged in the form of a micro-consent token, granting consent for a specific purpose, within which the digital identifiers are encrypted inside the purpose -specific specified token."

In my mind the consent goes from the user to the RP

and the receipt goes from the RP to the user.

Does this sentence mean that the same token flows in both directions?

Be the change you want to see in the world ..tom

Hi Yes,

I can make it, and also share an intro to decentralized data governance framework for eConsent Receipt Tokens, which we aim to implement with the Do Track (DNT) Extension for eConsent. (Aka the consent economy) Please find this attached,

Hi Soheil,

I have a conflict and may only be able to participate to a small degree, we have done quite a bit with do track and I believe Mark will make it.

Best regards to all,

Sal
