Hi, I'd like to suggest that 2.3.3 <https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/animation-from-interactions.html> be amended to also include animation that does not come from interactions. Recently, sites like Reddit and YouTube have implemented rolling number animations <https://hackernoon.com/rolling-numbers-animation-using-only-calayers> in their Upvote and Like counters. The numbers appear to slide into place and it is no way essential for me to know that a count has changed. I find these incredibly disorienting and there is no way for me to disable the animation even though I have every kind of "Reduce Motion" setting turned on. Not only are they disorienting, but the sudden and specific motion immediately draws my eyes to them making the effect worse. I've reached out to both Reddit and YouTube with no action from either. Thank you for your consideration.
