SC 1.1.6 for collated text transcripts is at level 3 now. Can this not be an alternative technique for captions and audio descriptions? This work for users who are vision and hearing impaired too. Captions, audio descriptions and synchronization are technically more challenging to implement. Are there standards for display of captions, else they might pose accessibility challenges. A link to a collated text transcript is easier to implement minimum accessibility.
