[policy] Collaborative Software Community Group Policy

Collaborative Software Community Group,

A Collaborative Software Community Group taskforce on policy can formulate group policy, processes to revise policy, taskforces, processes to commence taskforces, descriptions of groups, of taskforces and of positions and election processes for the Collaborative Software Community Group. The policy taskforce, as part of the Collaborative Software Community Group, can discuss innovative uses of collaborative software and groupware for our group processes and as advantageous to the processes of other groups.

The W3C Community and Business Groups website utilizes mailing lists, IRC, teleconferences, blogs, calendars, wikis, issue tracking tools and Mercurial repositories and, accordingly, the policy taskforce of the Collaborative Software Community Group may publish documents and Recommendations for the Collaborative Software Community Group as well as for the W3C Community Council (http://www.w3.org/community/council).

The Collaborative Software Community Group expects to hold elections within 3 months, by June of 2014. Preliminary work and discussions are underway, scientific and technical discussions, discussions about taskforces and about discussion topics, concurrent to the formulation of longer-term organizational structure, descriptions of taskforces and positions.

Kind regards,
