Hi, folks, sorry it's taken me a few days to send out the minutes. Here's
the recap, minutes, and next steps:
*New WCAG 3 subgroups to start in late October*
- *4 topics:* Views, voice control text contrast, text-to-speech
- *Deadline for participation survey:* Fill out this AG survey
<https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/AGWGSubgroupParticipation_Oct_24/>
by the end of this Wednesday, October 16th at 11:59pm Boston time
- *Next steps:* COGA's WCAG 3 coordination subgroup will use our next
meeting (October 24th) to go over which patterns from Making Content Usable
should be shared with the new subgroups.
*Changes to WCAG 3 Requirements doc*
- *Key details*
- This document is a high-level description of what WCAG 3 should do
in its next phase of development.
- It does not have any specifics about conformance—which is good
because there is so much that still needs to be worked out about
conformance.
- Julie created a google doc summarizing the changes
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kbGic0DyH9iNGCYy5YOTU0wMogcET_mTHi0mGS2-HT4/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.15sqqubaaw1q>
in this version.
- *Deadline for pull-request comments*
- Alastair wants people to submit comments by end of day tomorrow,
Tuesday, October 15th
- *Next steps*
- Please review the tracked-changes

add your comments to the pull request in Github
<https://github.com/w3c/wcag3/pull/117> by end of day tomorrow,
Tuesday, October 15th.
- Reminder that Julie's google doc has info to help make sense of the
tracked changes.
- Any concerns about this set of changes?
*Conformance models*
- *Key detail:* After our subgroup meeting. Alastiar clarified that "The
way the discussion was going at TPAC, it seemed like so many things could
be included in a definition of ‘harm’ that it wouldn’t be a useful way of
categorising requirements. However, if there is some way of prioritising
requirements (from COGA or any other point of view), that would be useful.
It’s a very difficult thing to ‘rank’.AG will continue the conformance
discussion at tomorrow's meeting at 11 am ET
- *Next steps: *Attend the AG meeting tomorrow at 11am ET and feel free
to speakup during the conformance conversation.

*Next subgroup meeting:* Thursday, October 24th, at 11am ET
