Hi, folks, I'm reaching out to give everyone in COGA an opportunity to add comments if you want to. *Context and key details* - AG is updating its high-level description of what WCAG 3 needs to do in the next phase of development. - The updates include adding the need for “broad disability support” and specifically mentions “cognitive and learning disabilities”—these are good changes! - I have no major concerns about the changes other than one wordsmithing suggestion on how to make the Readability section easier to understand. (Oh, the irony!) *Timeline* - Comments on the pull request <https://github.com/w3c/wcag3/pull/117>need to be submitted by Tuesday. - A CFC (call for consensus) will be sent later next week. *Google doc with more info about the changes and how to review:* https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kbGic0DyH9iNGCYy5YOTU0wMogcET_mTHi0mGS2-HT4/edit?tab=t.0 Thanks, and have a good weekend, everybody! -- [image: understood.logo] <https://www.understood.org/> *Julie Rawe* *Director, Content Strategy & Accessibility* jrawe@understood.org www.understood.org she | her | hers [image: facebook icon] <https://www.facebook.com/Understood/> [image: linkedin icon] <https://www.linkedin.com/company/understood/> [image: instagram icon] <https://www.instagram.com/understoodorg/?hl=en> [image: tiktok icon] <https://www.tiktok.com/@understood.org> *Support us <https://www.understood.org/donate>*
