Re: [EXTERNAL] Fwd: Discussion on WCAG 3.0 and making content usable - or - Agenda and call information for Monday 29th January 2024 - The Cognitive Accessibility Task Force Teleconference

Potential Regrets for Thursday 1st of February. I have to take my husband to his surgery follow-up and I’m not sure if I will be able to speak in the waiting room. I will do my best to listen.

Thank you,

Quick reminder of today's agenda

---------- Forwarded message ---------

Hi Folks

Coga's call this week will be a discussion, looking at WCAG 3.0 drafts and our proposed new structure for making content usable <https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-usable/> and seeing where we can make them work together.

We are inviting AG / Wcag chairs and task force leaders to help this conversation along.

Here is the tentative agenda:

· Introduction to different drafts:

o Coga: COGA Making Content Usable v2 - Pattern restructure proposal <https://docs.google.com/document/d/13mqcr4pNlhg-9jQ8gDX1b3KFFUCCq2xHe5Sq1sPeDFY/edit#heading=h.scqltz3rntje>

o WCAG 3.0 draft (state of flux) last version current editor's draft on github<https://w3c.github.io/silver/guidelines/>

· Should COGA objectives (or user stories or Patterns) match AG outcomes?

· What is needed as a differential?

· Schedules for publications?

· Should COGA still avoid terms from WCAG?

Let me know if anyone wants anything else added to the agenda

Scribe: Becca! (Thank you!)
