Hi, COGA taskforce, seeking your Clear Language feedback by this Thursday at 5pm ET

Hi, COGA folks, the Clear Language subgroup has finished our first WCAG 3
sprint and would like your feedback *by end of day this Thursday, May 18th.*

Feel free to look at our entire working draft
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JKJ32DK_A82ahsQ_k0RVPc-ZYpX5uuKtuGOLdo2OqyY/edit?usp=sharing>,
but we are mainly looking for feedback on:

*Current set of 24 outcomes
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JKJ32DK_A82ahsQ_k0RVPc-ZYpX5uuKtuGOLdo2OqyY/edit#bookmark=id.33kux5kjvx2>*

   - *Are we missing anything essential? *Please start any margin comments
with "Must include:" or "Nice to include:" so we'll know your level of
   urgency.
   - *Scope creep? *Is there anything in the current list of outcomes that
feels too far afield and should be removed to avoid "scope creep"?

*The note at the beginning of the Outcomes section*
Is there anything else we can/should do to help set expectations about:

   - *The high-level outcomes* that the WCAG 3 template calls for in this
"Placeholder" section. Clear Language is one of the first W3C groups to
test out the WCAG 3 template, so many folks may not be familiar with what
the template is looking for in this first "Placeholder" section.
   - *Our internationalization plans *for when we start writing more
detailed versions of these outcomes in the "Exploratory" section of the
WCAG 3 template. Is the current note sufficient or do we need to say more
at this early stage in the process?
   - *The headings we added today* to group different outcomes together
under common themes, per Lisa's suggestion. Each outcome is separate, but
we're clustering them to help users understand how they fit together.

*Timing*

   - We're asking for your feedback by end of day this Thursday so we'll
have time to incorporate before Monday's COGA meeting.
   - After we align, the next step is for Jeanne and Rachael to send out a
survey to get feedback from a wider group of WCAG 3 folks on our updated
   draft.

Thanks in advance for your feedback,
Julie
