Hi everyone, Sorry for the delay in getting out a summary of tasks from the Mental Health subgroup meeting on 4/20/2023 <https://www.w3.org/2023/04/20-coga-minutes.html>. Lisa finished analyzing several articles to meet the 50 article KPI we had set for the May 2nd deadline - thank you, Lisa! With that said, we still need to finish analyzing research articles related to the two issue papers we have targeted for this sprint. We also need to provide comments and suggested edits in the issue paper drafts. Here is a summary of what we need to complete: 1. To help us complete the analysis of papers related to our two issue papers, please: - Go to the Mental Health Research Articles Document <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XWmikm5Ein5CQ02knEJ5iGzO1YJMilTMBJ_aLVCTzs0/edit?usp=sharing> and navigate to the following two headings: - Topic - Effects of Trigger Warning <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XWmikm5Ein5CQ02knEJ5iGzO1YJMilTMBJ_aLVCTzs0/edit#heading=h.wqmgky77w6rk> - Topic - Social Media and its effects on mental health <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XWmikm5Ein5CQ02knEJ5iGzO1YJMilTMBJ_aLVCTzs0/edit#heading=h.vlhtti6k9pp7> - Look for articles that have ++ in front of the article title. If there is no one's name written after the ++, you may assign yourself to that article by adding your name after the ++. - If your name is already assigned to an article in either of these sections, please either complete the analysis, or let us know you're not able to complete it at this time. If you are unable to complete the analysis, please remove your name from the article so that someone else can assign themselves to it. - After you have assigned yourself to an article, please read through it and fill out the analysis form <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1HixNzZUXWiMBfyPjlZj0COtBkI3h1uvlxTFGIzAVngk/viewform?edit_requested=true> - please do your best to add patterns from Content Usable that you think are applicable. - Information you put into the analysis form, populates the Mental Health Literature Review Spreadsheet <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eKNrofGubnpQE6mO-vxmI-1MW5nA2LDj0LxebREPRGA/edit?usp=sharing>, which we are using to identify content that needs to go into the two issue papers for this sprint. 2. To help us review the two issue papers, choose one or both of the following links and provide your comments and suggested edits. Your comments and suggested edits should be based on findings from the analysis: - Issue Paper: Personalization settings to Remove or hide Trigger Warnings <https://docs.google.com/document/d/19RdKrd2aUJkZcm9FmIOvZ2jfn9JgYpFcqT5mubyQUAQ/edit#> - Issue Paper: Personalization Settings for Switching off Social Media <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zcSpU2GSSc1cG19p3KiDt4BtOhPBcaQE7GnhjAHba_o/edit#heading=h.yd9i7g86brn4> Many thanks for your help with these tasks. Please let me know if you have any questions. -- *Jan McSorley* *Accessibility Consultant* *512-731-7957 (mobile)* linkedin.com/in/janmcsorley <https://www.linkedin.com/in/janmcsorley> *We put a man on the moon in the 1960's.
