a-STEP

Hi Folks

I am involved in a COST Action “advancing Social Inclusion through
Technology and Empowerment" (a-STEP <http://www.a-step-action.eu .>).
It is an interdisciplinary  network which will enhance social inclusion and
empowerment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or
Intellectual Disability (ID). The idea is mainly to aid networking and
sharing resources among researchers .

It can also supply funding for:

   - members and or young researchers (under age 40) to help network, such
   as attending meetings etc
   - small collaborations travel expences.

I spoke to the Chair on Monday and you are all invited to join.
If we want to hold a face to face meeting, we can probably merge it with
network meeting which could cover some travel expenses.
A-step is also thinking of holding a meeting with ICCHP in Italy in July
<https://www.icchp-aaate.org/>. Would we want to hold a ftf at the same
time?
