TPAC TODAY

Hi Folks

Hi Folk Tpac- the w3c yearly meetings/conference, is starting today.

Roy, Rain and myself will  be keeping the IRC chat coga channel open so we
can help chat etc. If you are confused, stuck, or just want to chat, feel
free to use it!  You can join us on IRC simply by clicking on
http://irc.w3.org/?channels=coga   . (The channel is #coga. You can write
any name as a nickname.)

*Log into TPAC*
To login go to log in to tpac <https://web-eur.cvent.com/attendee-login?> (This
is a two step authentication... it will send a code to the email that you
have registered in)

There are lots of interesting sessions today including :


   - *Personalizing the Web for Better Accessibility* , 10:00 AM ET, 3 UK,
   5 IST (1 hour)
   - Smart Cities  6:00 PM - 7:00 PM GMT+3

If you have trouble logging in, check that you are registered fully.   The
process takes some time so try and do it a bit early.

   - Step 1:  fill in a form at :
   https://www.w3.org/register/tpac2021virtual/form
   - step 2: You will receive and email with the subject: Welcome to TPAC
   2021
   - step 3:  In the email, press the blue button to enter the
   conference (you may need to scroll down)
   - step 4:    This will take you to a page that will ask again for your
   name and email. It will send you a code to your email
   - step 5:    Enter the code (two step authentication)

You can now see the main schedule and sign up for things to attend.

Our other group meetings next week  and the week after are canceled, so we
can attend TPAC!
