Hello COGA and Silver,
The joint COGA and Silver Clear Words subgroup met today, and the notes
from this meeting are available in our ongoing Google Doc:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/12tpzFUzgwukAxRquB_XlfRjCY-Y1GweWJXOyzT97Xy8/edit#
From now on, all future communication will refer to this as the Silver*
Clear Language* subgroup.
*Key takeaway: *
- Everything in Lisa's version of the document
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J1_ad5wR35m41hgKH-o3Sr_CwWWUUtDFoqBr3CRva7Q/edit#>
was well received by the group, and we are now working on bringing that
work into the new Working Draft of the Clear Language Method
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1p-FayvZYonpDIlojblFSofi_KzjNdY5SrBOKauvV0u8/edit#>.
We have only just started re-writing, but are using Lisa's draft and the
best parts of the original draft together.
*Tasks for the group for next week: *
- Continue working on revisions to the Detailed Description
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1p-FayvZYonpDIlojblFSofi_KzjNdY5SrBOKauvV0u8/edit#heading=h.fg2ua9cof1y2>
section, which we are now framing from the structure Lisa provided.
- Clarify the definitions of "clear" and "easy to understand" and why we
are using both.
For reference, an archive of the previous version is linked from the
working draft, meeting notes, and wiki.
Thank you,
Rain
