It occurred to me that the User stories and user testing sections should be swapped. While our target users, designers and developers are mostly interested in "what to do" the User Stories are (or should be) the foundation of everything else. They provide the context and justification of why the design guide exists and what the Objectives and patterns are addressing. Specifically, the start of each User Stories section is "This leads to the following user stories:" which is the complete reverse of how things should be. The User stories lead to everything else.
