Fascinating, Steve. Thanks for sharing this pointer. There's not much text there, but the 80% number jumped out at me, i.e. 80% of people won't bother to scroll. Or, to put this in more conventional newspaper terms, if it's below the fold, 80% of users won't read it. I wonder whether the numbers for actual newspapers, the kind with ink on paper are just as bad. It would be interesting to know the comparison.
