Re: Call out boxes??

My impression is they are distinct concepts.
+1 to Cards being mentioned in their own right. Could be separate method 
or mentioned in those where appropriate?

1) Cards are a popular approach to overall UI design - ie everything 
looks like card when you have a card UI :) Here's another good article

One issue is the user is often presented with an infinity scrolling grid 
of cards which could well be see as an overwhelming, unorganised sea of 
stuff.

2 Callout boxes are a kind UI "highlight" to make something visually 
stand out to the user.

* A call to action or show case something like a discount rate.
* To bring attention to a part of the content, when they may be a 
special shape - like a speech bubble.
* To highlight part of a the main text - often than called 'pull quotes'

This make me think - should we include graphical examples of these and 
other things in the Design Guide?  To make things unambiguous?
