Hi Steve The last time we decided on having the patterns in the left menu under a subheading patterns. So that it would look like . https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/testing . https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/stories + Patterns when opened it would be . https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/testing . https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/stories - Patterns https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/clear-purpose https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/clear-steps https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/visual-heirarchy https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/callout-boxes https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/chunked-media https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/purposeful-sections https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/effective-affordances https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/recognizable-regions https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/findable-controls https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/menu-structure https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/familiar-design https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/internally-consitent https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/helpful-symbols All the best Lisa Seeman http://il.linkedin.com/in/lisaseeman/, https://twitter.com/SeemanLisa ---- On Wed, 17 Apr 2019 20:13:43 +0300 Steve Lee <stevelee@w3.org> wrote ---- All Can we please have comments on two different ways of organising the Web Design Guide Objectives 1) Index, User Testing and User Stories pages Example: https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/understandable/ If you click on the highlighted "Elements are understandable and usable" on the left it shows the Index page which has links to all the patterns. There are also separate "User Testing" and "User Stories" page links in the contents on the left. Click on these to see the pages. Please note, this is close to current document layout but slightly different as that has all the patterns placed in a 3rd "Patterns" section, located after "User Stories". I decided not to do this as the extra level that must be clicked on to expand seems to be unnecessary and harder to use. 2) Index and Overview Example: https://w3c.github.io/wai-coga/coga-draft/guide/helpful/ Click on "Help and support are always available" In this version there is only an Overview section and "User Testing" and "User Stories" are sections on the page. Thoughts please Steve
