Here is a draft email to send to people to review WCAG 2.1.  Feel free to change it - it is just to help you get started...

The new draft of WCAG - WCAG 2.1 has been published (see https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/). We have all worked really hard  to get some accommodation for people living with learning and  cognitive disabilities but not everything has got in. The Working Group would like wide review of this draft as soon as possible. It will be more difficult for them to address comments that come in after September.


The Working Group plans to publish the final Working Draft in November so comments on this draft are critical. After this people can raise objections, but they will be less likely to have an impact on the standard.

To comment, file an issue in the W3C WCAG 2.1 GitHub repository or send email to public-agwg-comments@w3.org. Please send comments before 10 October 2017. 


The items that have been added specifically to help people with learning and cognitive disabilities are:


1.3.4 Purpose of Controls - also look at the link of items in the definitions such as "common controls" - is anything missing?
1.3.5 Contextual Information Success Criterion 
2.2.6 Accessible Authentication Success Criterion 
2.2.7 Interruptions (Minimum) 
2.2.8 Timeouts



The task force would specifically like feedback on the following: 
What do you think needs to be changed or added to them include more people? 

Are you happy with the conformance levels (The levels are A, AA and AAA)? Note items marked A are considered the most important. Very few web sites do the items marked as  AAA
