Hi John can you add to the research page the following link http://www.bristol.ac.uk/media-library/sites/cipold/migrated/documents/fullfinalreport.pdf It shows the life expectency of people with LD end users in England being 20 years less for women and 13 years less for men. It seems it is typically preventable. Although a big problem is indifference and lack of support of medical staff, I think it highlights the need for access to health information, ease of making appointments etc. Not sure if it gets any stronger then that.
