Emergence of the Sentient Web and the revolutionary impact of Cognitive AI

Earlier this week I gave a presentation [1] on the “Emergence of the Sentient Web and the revolutionary impact of Cognitive AI” to the future directions session at the Open Geospatial Consortium’s Technical Committee Meeting in Ottawa [2]. The talk starts with RDF and LPG (labelled property graphs), and introduces “Chunks” as a simple amalgam of RDF and LPG, before explaining Cognitive AI, and the main components in the high level cognitive architecture. Further details are given on the functional model of feelings and emotions. The autonomous driving demo is introduced, including some of the cognitive rules. I hope to finish that demo in April when I get some time free from my current work on EU project deadlines.
