This is a welcome message for the public archive for people exploring the Cognitive AI CG. The Cognitive AI Community Group has been set up to explore how insights from Cognitive Science can lead to new applications, based upon our evolving knowledge of the mind and behaviour, using a combination of graph representations of data (similar to JSON-LD and Property Graphs), if-then rules, and statistics reflecting prior knowledge and past experience. We’re looking for help with defining use cases, compiling datasets, and working on open source implementations of publicly accessible demonstrators. Potential application areas include: Helping non-programmers to work with data, conversational agents for healthcare, customer service agents, and many more. You can help with identifying application areas and the technical challenges they pose. You can see more background at: https://www.w3.org/Data/demos/chunks/chunks-20191205.pdf <https://www.w3.org/Data/demos/chunks/chunks-20191205.pdf> https://www.w3.org/Data/demos/chunks/chunks.html <https://www.w3.org/Data/demos/chunks/chunks.html> If you’re interested please drop us a message and we will get back to you. p.s. we expect to collaborate using a mix of email, GitHub, and Google docs. For demonstrators, we’re using JavaScript for Web pages and NodeJS, but are open to other ideas.
