Re: [EXT] Feedback on browser plugin idea

Hi Simona,

This capability can be addressed if websites are built responsively, simply by resizing the window to a mobile size. There is also “Reader View” functionality built into some browsers and other extensions/plug-ins available to strip out css or hide ads.

Getting the word out about these would be valuable.

Kindly,
Jen

Subject: [EXT] Feedback on browser plugin idea
Hi COGA Community Group, I'd like to start a collaboration with a local university to develop a browser plugin able to hide parts/areas of the websites in order to help people to focus just on some parts of the page. I mean like if there is a website with Ads on the side maybe you'd like to hide them to focus on the main content. Or maybe just to hide images in websites, but also letting you decide if you want to hide some of them instead of just all of them. Things like that. I'd like to develop something really flexible and customizable. I'd like to hear your feedback on this idea to know if you think it can be useful or useless, or if you already know some kind of software that allows you to hide/show areas at the user's will 🙈 Any help will be appreciated, thanks! Have a nice day!
