Mozilla to render PDF documents using canvas

Here is yet another document rendering example where a company is using
canvas. We will need some form of caret navigation to process this. We need
accessible caret navigation and selection processing.

We will need to need to introduce new constructs like page semantics, etc.
Adobe has a whole slew of these that that were custom to the plug-in
accessibility implementation.
