Browser extension usage data

All:

I am interested in getting an up-to-date, aggregate picture of how many people are using browser extensions or plugins across the major browsers (Chrome, IE, Safari, Firefox, Opera). I’m having trouble collecting this information—do you have any tips on how to make an estimate?
