Hi Browser Testing and Tools Working Group participants, This is a Call for Consensus to publish the WebDriver BiDi specification as a First Public Working Draft (FPWD) using the latest Editor’s Draft [1] as its basis per the discussion we had at TPAC 2024 [2]. The applicable requirements for advancement to FPWD are detailed in the Process Document. [3] This Call for Consensus will run for 2 weeks, ending on 30 October 2024. Please reply to this email and state one of the following: * I support publication of WebDriver BiDi as First Public Working Draft. * I object to publication of WebDriver BiDi as First Public Working Draft (please detail any concerns). Silence is considered implicit consent. Once the WebDriver BiDi specification has been published as a First Public Working Draft, further publications as Working Drafts will use W3C automated publication system and follow updates made to the Editor's Draft (as done for the WebDriver specification). Thanks, David Burns, Browser Testing and Tools Working Group Chair.
